Dementia Solutions, (Personalized Dementia Solutions Inc.), was initiated in Vancouver, BC in 2009. It was founded by Karen Tyrell, Dementia Educator, Consultant, Author, and Speaker.
Dementia Solutions’ mission is to lead the transformation in managing dementia-related behaviours for both professional and family caregivers.
We support families caring for someone with dementia through personalized one-on-one meetings and group sessions. Additionally, we offer certification education to frontline professional caregivers, empowering them to build confidence and excel in their roles.
Our goal is to shift from the outdated medical and task-focused model to a compassionate, person-centered approach. This new way promotes harmony and enhances the quality of life for individuals affected by dementia and their caregivers.
